Summary

In the Qin Dynasty, time traveller Hong Siu-lung (Koo) has lived quietly in seclusion with his family for twenty years. Yet every move he makes remains under the watchful gaze of his former disciple, now the Qin Emperor (Lam). On the verge of absolute dominance after conquering war-torn states, the Emperor is suddenly attacked by a mysterious squad armed with advanced weapons unmistakably originating from the future. Drawn together by fate once more, Hong and the Emperor must confront the long-buried rift between them, for the future now hinges on how they choose to resolve their past.
